Continuing Education Seminars for Insurance & Financial Professionals

The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy have approved and recognized our seminars for credit. The majority of Associations and Designation authorities also recognize them.

Every two years, the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance (NJDOBI) requires all Insurance Producers to complete 24 hours of continuing education. Three of the twenty-four hours must be related to insurance ethics. The remaining credits are considered electives and can be achieved by participating in approved continuing education seminars or online classes on any subject.

Continuing Education credits are also required by most organizations that issue designations. In addition, special courses are required for producers who sell Flood Insurance, those who deal with PAIP/CAIP Plans, and those who sell Long Term Care Insurance. Several of these classes are scheduled throughout the year to help you meet your training needs.

Continuing Education Requirements

The New Jersey Department of Insurance requires all licensed insurance producers to earn Continuing Education Credits each licensing period. Continuing Education credits can be earned by attending insurance-related seminars or online programs offered by accredited institutions such as the American School of Business.
